A great drinking vintage, 2021 is open for business - this is the last vintage of this lovely, elegant wine, a very underrated appellation for red fruited Burgundy. Aromatically this is a gorgeous highly sensual wine; it displays a very high toned and attractive blend of cherries, plum, strawberries and a gentle floral top note. On the palate the wine is pure, medium-bodied and very perfumed with good sappiness at the core, very refined tannins, bright acids and excellent focus and grip on the long, tangy and complex finish.
